Pastor Francis Madojemu rounded up our Network Service which is also the Kids Expression service by asking the kids what Jesus meant to them at this stage of their lives and each one said Jesus is their Saviour, Helper, King, Fortress, Friend, etc. He also talk to us parents that in every child is a complete person. Robert Liardson went to heaven at age 12 but when he arrived in heaven he was a thirty year old man, because even if you are a baby here on earth you are a complete man. When God sends you a baby He sent a complete man because Jesus came as baby but He was a slain Lamb according to scriptures. Just think, children are not to be manipulated but men and women for you to grow up.
Children are one of the mistakes you can not correct – if they are been ignored for 20 years that can not be fixed in 5 years and we actually think we can. Inside each one of these persons/children are potentials.
There are only two lasting bequests we can give to our children –
First one – Roots:
There are no trees without a root. What are your children been rooted in right now? Are you building them up in God – which is their root or are you building them up in your village or in the values of your culture.
Second One – Wings:
To fly. To be able to give them the ability to fly.
Bishop TD Jakes said it’s not what we give to the children that matters but what you put in your children that causes them to be successful.
“It is more important to rescue the kids from their own foolishness than to shelter them from the world. The foolishness that is inside the heart of a child is in fact much more dangerous to him or her than the temptations outside….Paul Tripp”. We can’t protect our kids by sheltering them from the temptations of this world.

when they’re old they won’t be lost.
We only need to train them – direct them in the way they should go and we will get successful results.
